Statement of Faith

Faith Ministries began in 1988 when a church was started in Leeds, West Yorkshire. The Lord Jesus Christ had directed Pastor Philip Dacre to return to the land of his birth and to start a ministry there.

A church was duly started and the ministry quickly followed. The Lord led us to move into rented accommodation for the church and start other subsidiary ministries as well. The Leeds Christian Centre was duly started and Leeds Christian School; Leeds Bible School of Ministry; Leeds Christian Bookshop; Video and Tape ministries, etc. as well.

Having established these ministries for a period of ten years the Lord began to challenge us to reach out to Him and follow His leading. Then Jesus changed everything. (It's His prerogative)

In the year 1996 we followed the Lord's leading into a series of meeting each night for the period of ten months. During this time the Lord directed us to change everything in this ministry. A summary of these changes can be seen by click the following link

Directives.

Pastor Philip Dacre leads the ministry from the ministry centre in Leeds, West Yorkshire in UK. Pastor Phil has a diploma from Rhema Bible Training Centre in South Africa and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Natal, also from South Africa. He has started churches and run bible schools in both Africa and UK. He has a wife, also in the ministry, and two children Michael and Rachel. For a photograph please click the following button.
