On the 23rd July, 1999 the divisional high court of the land under the leading of Lord Justice Sedley , ruled that we are able to preach freely throughout the nation of Britain. He stated that we were right to have resisted arrest and that what had been happening to us by getting arrested was against the law and wrong. The police and the authorities are in the wrong. They will never apologise for this let alone take it gracefully. As many untoward things have happened under the heading of the police enforcing the law.

I was wondering if you could answer a question for me: In John 6, the Lord speaks of eating His flesh..........what does it really mean to eat the flesh of the Lord?

Answer from the Pastor:-

Hello Judith,

Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. It means in John6 that we have to take the wholeness of what the Lord did and does for us. His flesh means we are forgiven. No possibility of it being otherwise. But we must believe this and not try to make ourselves forgiven now.

Jesus was using this teaching for another purpose. To sift those who trusted and those who were being led by their "mind understanding". The faith people would trust on , not being led by there own understanding, but by the certain knowledge that the Lord is good. To those who were looking for an excuse because they could see that the going was about to get rough, He gave them a way out.
They took it and they still do today. The excuse is always available.

TITHING YOUR MONEY

Hi!

I always like to ask you questions on matters because I feel that you always give me a precise, Scripturally based answer. Here goes!

1.) Is tithing relevant today? We pay our tithes (though we got be hind last month and asked forgiveness!) There is a debate amongst some who say it is not necessary today, but yet, how will individual churches pay bills if they aren't supported? What is proper?

2.) A very well known minister amongst charismatic Christian circles has very recently said that he will give a "personal prophecy" from the Holy Spirit if you send him $345 as a "seed of faith." Is this Scriptural? He says he will send a prophetic forecast for what God has planned for you for the next year. I am still learning, but this sounds a little "off" to me. When you need prayer or a word from God, is it necessary to give money as a demonstration of faith?

I thank you for your consideration in answering these questions. There's so much coming from within the Christian community some times that is puzzling, and I prefer to walk in truth. God bless you!

Dear Angela,

Obviously this is wrong. The selling of blessings, practised by the Roman Catholic church is and always will be wrong. Selling prophesies for money is wrong. The bible is quite against all if these things.

But tithing is right, but not by law but by the laws of faith. The grace of tithing. Ten per cent for the local church, the place where you are fed. Offerings for what God leads you to give and alms for the poor.

Mt 23:23 Jesus states that the Pharisees should tithe but first they should insist on the spiritual values like faith, justice and mercy but without letting the tithing go.

PS In the New Testament we give all and ask God what He wants us to keep for our own usage!

Sorry it took me so long to reply, my computer's power supply filled the room with a lovely aroma so I had to get it fixed :) Do you remember me? I'm the guy who asked for prayer for new skin. Yes I do believe Jesus can and will and has already done it because His word says so. I am learning to trust in Jesus and to know what is mine in Him. I hope to bless many people too. A saint said that he was not at all sure of tithing in the new Testament and so I sent him this reply.

Hello there whoever you are.

I hope your question was genuine.

If you look in Matthew 23:23 you will find that Jesus talks about the Pharisee's legalism and in that verse re-instates tithing. In fact, in the New Testament, we give everything to God. He directs us where to use it. Ten per cent is merely the start and the guide in the New Testament.

Jarrod's Healed by Jesus Name.

Hello,

I found you on the internet through the John Osteen web site. I have a prayer request for my 16 yr. old son named Jarrod . He was born with an incurable disease called cystanosis. It caused him to have to get a new kidney, which he did on Christmas day of 94 in Pittsburgh, PA in Children's Hosp. He now has three kidneys. I prayed for his own 2 kidneys for 12 years and stood on the Word of God, speaking and confessing it day and night with my husband Rick. We are both Born-again Christians and do believe the word of God is the truth and that God wants us well. I started reading what you all wrote in the web-site that God wants us well. Last week, I wrote a song called He wants me Well. This is the truth and it belongs to us. We are faith people. We've seen God at work in Jarrod so much already. He was sent home to die but he lived, He wasn't suppose to not grow at all, but he is 5'6" tall praise God.

Much has happened but we need to see the rest of it. I am told by his doctor that we all have cystine in our bodies and that it processes, but Jarrod's doesn't and God can fix this. His eyes need prayer, They are filled up with crystals from the cystine and causes him to not see well. There are crystals throughout his body in places we do not know, but God knows and he can remove all the crystals. His cystine blood test should prove this, that all the crystals are gone in Jesus name. He takes 29 pills a day for everything and it makes him sick to his stomach and has headaches. We need a manifestation. I'm asking like Jesus said, Ask and we shall receive. Will you pray and believe. I can't say thank you enough for your kindness and compassion to pray for my only son. I do have a daughter who needs prayer for her eyes, to be able to see far away. I appreciate this so much.

Delivered From Spiritualism

Hello my name is Cie Hughes and I am a housewife based in Yorkshire in England, UK. I was deeply involved in spiritualism and witchcraft but began to realise that something was wrong with what I was doing. Christian members of my family were praying for me and the knowledge of this alone made me get nervous. The climax came when my own son wanted to go into spiritualism.

This made me seek help from a nearby church in Askern , near Doncaster, South Yorkshire. After some struggling I gave my heart to Jesus and it was as if a great volcano erupted inside me and torment left my soul like the larva from the volcano. Her son, after prayer, left the spiritualist churches too after his mother prayed with him and he accepted the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for his sins and became born again as well.

Scriptures tells us clearly not to be involved in these rebellious spiritualistic practises. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 states, "Let no one be found among you who practises spiritism , sorcery or consults the dead....Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord...."

Cie lives in South Elmsall now and is a practising Christian . She joined us preaching in the streets in Castleford recently.

DIANE WROTE TO US AND ASKED SOME QUESTIONS

Hello there Diane, Thank you for your reply. I must say at the beginning that I fully expect you to find things that you do not like in us. But if you ask the Lord you will find that we are from God and are doing His work. Each one has been called by God His way and is being used by God for His purposes in the ministry and calling that God has determined and not man. God knew Jeremiah in his mother's womb. Meaning that it was Jeremiah's personality and character that God used to bring His Word to that nation in that time and in that way. The Jeremiah way. God used his personality to bring it for that occasion. This was God's wisdom. Similarly we are all called the way we are and given His righteousness and His word and told to go. Peter being different from fiery John and each different from Paul. So now to answer your questions which I invite and would like you to consider taking these onto one of our mailing lists. It would help other people to hear this discussion? The one I am thinking about is the Faith2 one.

Your Questions were:- 1. What translation of the bible do you quote. Just curious. We read King James, but I noticed that the "translation" was different.

I normally use the New KJV, however especially to African countries and others that do not understand English that well I will often teach from the NIV.

2. Someone has been emailing me telling me that we don't need someone else to pray for our miracle/healing. But when I read the word of the Lord, He said that their are different gifts of the Spirit and not all will have the same gift. (I Cor . 12:1-11)

It is true that it is Jesus that heals us. We call on Him, not man. Gifts of healings are one gift of the Spirit and the Spirit is given to each believer. But not all are able to administer these things properly and in the mean time you might die, whilst learning and so James tells us to pray for one another James 5:14-16 and that the prayer of faith will heal the sick. If there is any one sick let him call for the elders.

3. I pray in the name of Jesus. I ask. I seek. How do we receive the manifestation of the miracle that the Lord said was finished on Calvary? What am I doing wrong?

We are searching and beseeching the Lord. We want His Healing Power and Miracles, not the doctors "healing". They cannot do, what God can do. We search for the Lord to be our Physician.

You receive it by faith as you did your forgiveness. Ephesians 2:8 By grace are you save through faith. After you know you accept what God has done for you in the area of forgiveness even before you "feel" forgiven. Before you ever get the peace of God you believe and afterwards you get the peace that follows believing what He says. You are forgiven. Not everyone gets this quickly. Same with healing the manifestation doesn't always come quickly, but the promise is sent before the question was even asked. By His stripes you WERE healed. 1Peter2:24 Now is only to receive or appropriate what He has done for you, just as with forgiveness. Pride stops many people accepting that it is this easy as does the not seeing of the manifestation instantly stops others. But we walk by faith and not by sight.
